Enjoying NUREMBERG:
My greatest joy of living in Nuremberg with my husband is that it is a metropolitan city with five hundred thousand inhabitants and not crowded.
Nuremberg is an open society that welcomes people from all walks of life. Germany has a liberal-democratic constitution. Nuremberg is the city of human rights.
Nuremberg lies on the Pegnitz river and has stood since the rule of the Holy Roman Empire.
Nuremberg is the second-largest Bavarian city and the fourteenth largest municipality in Germany. This beautiful medieval city is full of hidden wonders and vast historical memoirs, underground bunkers, brewers, old castles, bridges, and churches just to name a few.
Sometimes I have to pinch myself:
Living a few feet away from the Imperial Castle I have to admit “pretty darn cool”, my husband calls me Princess from the day we met, so I claim the castle as our own,” haha”.
Nuremberg the airport is pretty close to us. We have easy access to travel around Europe by plane, train, or car which is pretty awesome. Weekends we can just decide to take a short trip, jump in your car or hop on a plane or train and you could be in another country in a few hours eg; Prague, Czech Republic, Alsace, France. One hour flight to Paris. If we just want to stay in Germany we could go to Munich, Berlin, Frankfurt, Cologne, Hamburg on a train or drive in a few hours.
Wöhreder See is one of our favorite place in the city, I always enjoy walking, cycling and swimming over there with you. This place is fantastic all year round. Love you Princess !!!
